Let the kids play or refine your fishing style in our Catch and Release Pond. Bring your own gear or low cost basic poles and equipment are for sale in the General Store. A safe and enjoyable way to fill an afternoon or a week. At Live Oak on a Thursday? Why not have the kids join in the fun with the Kids Fishing Club every Thursday afternoon!


Hiking
Hike hundreds of acres from your base at Live Oak Landing. Make your way through Baldwin County and Forever Wild property as you explore the Eastern shore of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. No Hike is complete without a visit to Bicentennial Park, with mockups of Civil War Forts and Native American Mound villages and the Historic Montpelier Methodist Church.


Bocce Ball
Free to all campers, or for a small fee to day visitors, grab a set of bocce, find a nice piece of riverside grass and play some bocce ball beneath the swaying Live Oaks and Spanish Moss, while picnicking with your family. A wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon, Bocce is low key and great fun for all ages.

Rent a Canoe and explore the Tensaw river, or for more adventure, join a float trip and the Live Oak Landing Staff will drop you further upstream, allowing for a one way float and plenty of exploration as the currents lead you back to Live Oak Landing.
